The kafue reed frog is a tiny frog that is endemic to Zambia and occurs in the Kafue National park.

It is a tiny reed frog.
Ecology & Behaviour
It is a very adaptable species that is not facing any significant threats.
Reproduction
It spreads rapidly into recently created waterbodies. It breeds in a wide variety of aquatic habitats, ranging from very small to very large ponds, usually using temporary, but often also in permanent, waterbodies. The eggs are deposited directly into the water.

It is categorized by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) as, ” Least Concern “
Distribtion & Habitat
It occurs in the Kafue National Park. Its natural habitats are dry savanna, moist savanna, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, subtropical or tropical moist shrubland, subtropical or tropical dry lowland grassland, subtropical or tropical seasonally wet or flooded lowland grassland, rivers, swamps, freshwater lakes, intermittent freshwater lakes, freshwater marshes, intermittent freshwater marshes, arable land, pastureland, urban areas, heavily degraded former forest, water storage areas, ponds, open excavations, irrigated land, seasonally flooded agricultural land, and canals and ditches
