General Information
The rasmusseni's night adder or Kasanka national park night adder is a new species that was recently identified in North western province of Zambia. It is endemic to Zambia though might possibly occur in Angola and the DRC.

Distribution and Habitat
Occurs in moist Miombo woodland and possibly in other broad-leafed savanna. This viper species was described from two specimens from north-western Zambia, and potentially occurs in Angola and southern Democratic Republic of the Congo.
